The Seven Stars (Newmarket Road) is one of Cambridge's oldest pubs. This Grade ll listed building was originally constructed during the early to mid-19th century. During 2014 complete renovation took place to give the interior a fresh, modern look. In addition to a wide selection of drinks including lagers, wines and champagne, we also serve a wide selection of Indian dishes from our modernised kitchen....Indian food has a history of more than 5000 years, with influences from various groups and cultures - including Mughals, British and Portuguese empires. Our Head Chef is Kathirvelan, who is internationally recognized as one of the most distinguished representatives of Indian cuisine; we invite the most discerning palates to savour traditional Indian cuisine from our exquisite seasonally changed menu. Those who appreciate Indian cuisine also like to eat meatless, which is why we offer an exceptionally large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes with hundreds of Indian spices … turmeric, ginger, black mustard, cardamom, cumin, saffron, curry, cloves, cinnamon and mint … you will be whisked away to the magical world of Indian spices. The Seven Stars recreates the charm of the traditional clay oven or tandoor with its delicious menu of succulent tandoor-cooked kebabs, vegetables and breads. We look forward to welcoming you!

Fantastic food ... good hospitality...lots of room .. Will be going back
Lovely friendly place. Had space for our large group of 12 (booked ahead). Food was excellent and affordable. Hope to be back again soon.
Good decor, informal spacious clean and bright. Service a bit slow 35 minutes and slow to take orders in our case. Generous on poppadoms, complementarity given. Food was outstanding. The restaurant was reasonably valued.
